Accelerate Energy Productivity 2030 Raleigh: A State and Local Dialogue

On February 5, 2015, the Department of Energy (DOE), and Council on Competitiveness (Council) and the Alliance to Save Energy (Alliance) co-hosted the first of three State and Local Dialogues in Raleigh, North Carolina as part of the Accelerate Energy Productivity 2030 initiative.

Raleigh was the first in a series of three dialogues held to inform a roadmap for achieving the goal of doubling U.S. energy productivity. Modeled after the Alliance’s successful Energy 2030 On the Road events, the half-day dialogue featured keynote addresses and panel discussions regarding driving energy productivity through:

  • An Integrated Approach to Buildings and Transportation
  • Buildings Across Communities and on Campus
  • Best Practices and Policies in the Public and Private Sectors
