American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE)
The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to advancing energy efficiency as a means of promoting economic prosperity, energy security and environmental protection. ACEEE fulfills its mission by:Conducting in-depth technical and policy assessmentsAdvising policymakers and program managersWorking collaboratively with businesses, public interest groups and other organizationsOrganizing conferences and workshopsPublishing books, conference proceedings and reportsEducating consumers and businessesProjects are carried out by ACEEE staff and selected energy efficiency experts from universities, national laboratories and the private sector. ACEEE’s program areas include: Energy Policy, Economic and Social Analysis, Buildings and Equipment, Utilities, Industry and Agriculture, Transportation, Behavior and the Human Dimensions of Energy Use and International.
